HDA participated in the 1st annual Regina Rowing Club Corporate Challenge on Wascana Lake .

The Corporate Challenge includes sessions with an experienced coach to teach basic rowing techniques, terms, and safety tips. In addition to this, we also learned team spirit, foster a sense of community and friendship within the workplace, and the importance of working together as a team to move an eight through the water.

The Challenge was wrapped up with a regatta where all participating teams raced to see who would end up on top, followed by a feast with adult beverages and awards.

HDA learned a lot about our fellow coworkers and a great deal about ourselves as individuals in this unique and positive experience. Rowing and the workforce have much in common. Both require teams to pull together to overcome obstacles. Because of this, a mutual respect quickly develops and improves work relationships to help increase staff productivity.
